Section 43(1) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) requires a website that offers goods or services for sale to publish the following information.

4. Services and prices

Job seekers: Free. ElderBirch never charges job seekers.
Employer Access: R 250.00 per month: full candidate profiles, contact details and CVs where direct contact applies, messaging, vacancy posting and applicant management. See the employer subscription terms.
Full-service recruitment: A placement fee in accordance with ElderBirch's standard terms, agreed in writing before a search begins. Submitting a recruitment request is free.
Payment: By card through PayFast (monthly recurring billing), or EFT by prior arrangement. Card details are handled by PayFast, never by ElderBirch.
When the service starts: Immediately after PayFast confirms the first payment.
Minimum duration: One month. The subscription renews monthly until cancelled.
Cooling-off: Employer Access starts immediately at your request, so the cooling-off period in ECTA section 44 does not apply (section 42(2)(d)).
Cancellations and refunds: See our cancellations & refunds policy.
Transaction records: Invoices and payment history are available in the employer dashboard under Subscription. We keep payment records for five years.

5. Security and privacy

Payments are processed by PayFast on its secure payment pages. The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). How we collect, use and protect personal information is explained in our privacy policy; how to request records is explained on our PAIA page.
